The Alma girls tennis team wrapped up TVC action on Friday at the TVC Tournament. The Panthers took fourth as a team, their highest finish in a few years. Frankenmuth won the league, followed by Chesaning and Essexville Garber. Senior Cali Anderson led the team, taking second in the number four singles position. The Panthers had a pair of doubles team that took third as well, with both the number two doubles team of Breanna Howey and Aubrey Dunlap, and the number four doubles team of Kaylynn Brecht and Haley Tessman losing close matches in the semi-finals. Alma will compete again on Wednesday when they travel to Sparta for a tri-meet with the Spartans and Greenville.
