ALMA - The boys track team dominated Shepherd on Wednesday night while the girls fell to visiting Shepherd. On the girls side senior Lexi Morton was victorious in the discus while freshman Madison Doolittle swept both hurdle events. Freshman Tayla Guerrero won the 200 meter dash as well.
For the boys the 4x200 relay of senior Malcolm Davis, juniors Boyd Hubbard and Chase Austin and sophomore Brenden Howard was victorious, along with the 4x800 relay of senior Jake Morey, junior Damian Castillo, and sophomores Brevan Bender and Hayden Bailey. Austin was victorious in both hurdle events while Bailey won the 800 and Davis won both the 400 and 200. Seniors Dom Garcia and Grant Fitzgerald were victorious in the 1,600 and 100 respectively.
Seniors Clayton Carr and Curtis Doyle swept the discus and shot put. The Panthers will next compete at Morley-Stanwood on Saturday.
